All My Love….

You’ll be thrilled to know that I’m showing you something other than the Butterfly Gala  🙂

All My Love Suite on page 4 and 5 of the new Occasions Catalog was one of the first suites I purchased.  Using the Forever Lovely Stamp Set (photopolymer 148624 $21.00) along with the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies (148526 $32.00 OR purchase the bundle and save 10% using item # 150580 $47.50) I created these beautiful cards in just minutes. I used the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack (148584 $9.00) and the All My Love Designer Series Paper (148576 $11.00)

Sponge Daubers…my best friend

Yep…sponge daubers are my friend when I just don’t want to get out my blends, or my markers…I just dab them into the ink pad and see what comes out on paper.  In this case, I used our In-Colors….using 2 colors on each (lighter on the inside and darker on the outside).  My butterflies turned out simply gorgeous (I think)…what do you think?  I believe I have an addiction to the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set (148580 $ 21.00, photopolymer) and the Butterfly Duet Punch (148523  $18.00) and if you order them together in the bundle you save 10% (150599 $35.00)….I promise to move on to something else in the new Occasions Catalog  🙂

A hint of Floral Romance…..

As you can see from the photo, I only used a hint of the new Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper ( 148586 $14.00) from the 2019 Occasions Catalog.  My oh my this paper is gorgeous and is a must have for your paper selection.  The printed vellum in this paper is so delicate and beautiful.  I love it.  I also used the Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8″ Variegated Ribbon (148776 $8.00).  Once again, I used the Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins (148561  $7.50)….Can you tell that I love these?  Did you notice the small background paper?  It is the Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (148812 $14.00) and if you aren’t paying attention in the Occasions Catalog you will miss this beautiful paper…it’s on page 48

Cute way to do a Birthday Card….

So, I’ve been noticing several demonstrators using their calendars received in our December Paper Pumpkin kits as a way to introduce the months onto a birthday card so I thought I’d try it out… seems so cute, simple.  It really doesn’t matter that you have a particular year, just the month of the person’s birthday and the day circled.  This particular card was indeed produced from Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin Kit in December and the Stamp Set in the Kit was also used…there is a tiny little circle stamp and this stamp is what I used to circle the day of this person’s birthday.  Clever idea…

I do not know the name of the Demonstrator who began this cool way to make a birthday card….would love to thank her for this wonderful project.  The sentiment on this project is from the Occasions Catalog, pg 21, Incredible Like You (148708 $17.00) and I used Pool Party Cardstock.

Humming Along

We all received this wonderful stamp set “Humming Along”(148758 $20.00/a cling stamp set)at Onstage in November.  It’s a beautiful set to use with our Stampin’ Blends which is exactly what I did in this photo.  I used Daffodil Delight Dark (144585 $4.50, Old Olive Light and Dark (Combo Pack 144597 $9.00), and Highland Heather Light and Dark (147276 $9.00)…blended them together, added Highland Heather cardstock (146986 $8.50) , and the new Gingham Gala 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (148554 $11.00), along with the new Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins (148561 $7.50) Highland Heather

Less is more……

These 2 cards are so simple….the only stamping to do is for the greeting.  This beautiful paper is called Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and is just one of items you can get as a free item with a $50.00 order and the Butterfly Duet Punch aligns perfectly with this paper. You can find the Butterfly Duet Punch on page 35 in the new  2019 Occasions Catalog. Both of these catalogs go live on Jan. 3rd.  If you do not have either catalog and would like one please send me an email and I will get one out to you ASAP!  These cards were simple to put together.  Simple is the way to go!!!  Enjoy!

Totally Relieved!!!!

So….I’ve been missing in action…not really, but as far as my blog is concerned yes!!!    I have been posting and blogging all along and did not realize that a plug-in that I had updated “broke” my blog.  So for a few weeks now I’ve been trying to “find” my blog.  Thought it was gone forever and I was really freaking out that all the hard work I’d put in to this blog was lost forever never to be found again.  I received so much help from GoDaddy and many hours of their time and effort trying to retrieve info.  I was so relieved last night when finally they got my blog back up and running again.  This has been quite the journey and  by trial and error I find something new every day.  Thanks for being patient with me through all of this these past few weeks…..so lets get back to blogging.
