Is it too early for Christmas?

This card uses the new Swirly Bird Stamp Set (Item #141749) and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlets Dies (Item #141497) You can purchase these as a Bundle and save 10% using Item #142353. The embellishments are:  Brights Collection of Sequins (Item #138389), Linen Thread (Item #104199) and I used the Christmas Greetings Thinlits (Item #139659) and I believe that I accidentally used some retired Washi Tape ( OOPS! )  But turned out pretty darn cute.  If you wanted to recreate this card, you could always substitute the Washi Tape for Designer Series Paper or replace with the new Washi Tape in the Annual Catalog and also from the new upcoming Holiday Catalog.

I've worked on a couple little projects.......

These cards were produced using the Serene Scenery Cardstock Pack (48 sheets of Designer Series Paper 6x6 - Item #141642), Wetlands Stamp Set (Item # 126697 photopolymer), Basic Black Archival Ink Pad (Item #140931)  Also used the 1/4" Gold Natural Trim (Item #141484) and Linen Thread (Item # 104199) and of course I used the Whisper White Note Cards w/ Envelopes (Item # 131527)

These cards turned out so cute.....and really there isn't much to them.

Blooms and Wishes (one of my favs from the new 2016-17 Annual Catalog

This stamp set Blooms & Wishes (Item #141784) is one of my favorite sets.  This is just a simple 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card using Dapper Denim In Color (Item # 141394), Whisper White Craft Ink for the sentiment (Item# 101731)  and also used the Sweet Sugarplum In Color (Item # 141935) and Mint Macron for the leaves (Item #138326).  I used the Layering Circles Framelits (Item#141705) to frame the sentiment and raised the white cardstock up on dimensionals (Item #104430) and used Linen Thread (Item # 104199).....for the background and added frame around the sentiment I used the designer series paper Blooms and Bliss (Item # 141654).

Thanks for stopping in and looking.... hope your day is fabulous....

All New to me.....

Welcome to my blog!   This is a first for me so be nice.  I hope you enjoy reading and looking at the cards I create using Stampin' Up! products (the best quality of paper and stamps offered in my opinion).  I have been with Stampin' Up! since October 2001 and have enjoyed this incredible journey I'm on and where it has taken me over the years.  I have an incredible husband, John, who is always there to support me in whatever I do.  My two daughters, Kelly and Michelle (ages 32 and 31), my granddaughter Noel (age 10), always encourage and cheer me on.  I've been wanting to create a blog and have my own domain now for well over a year, maybe 2 years but did not know how in world this worked or where to begin.  I've done a great deal of research and it's a work in progress.  Actually, my older daughter, Kelly, has helped me a great deal in figuring this out!!  (When did the kids start knowing more than their parents?) :-)    I grew up in the typewriter days!!  So, with all this being said....let's begin the journey together and hopefully I will learn something new each and every day.
